Part of the recent outdoor wear boom, there’s a trend in Japan these days to have rock-climbing carabiners decorating and adorning your bag or rucksack, or even hanging from your belt. Riding on this wave comes the Evangelion Carabiner, a pair of official merchandise in the style of Japan’s most famous science fiction series.
While we don’t recommend you try to use these carabiner on an actual mountain, they will still look just fine on your bag, in either red or purple design, each stamped by laser sculpting with the Evangelion 2.0 logo. Any fan of Japanese street fashion or Neon Genesis Evangelion will surely jump at the chance to add one of these to their wardrobe.
